On CD and M in supervision contexts

Concept development and modeling in supervision contexts

In the first paper, the choice of system definition is discussed in three theoretical perspectives: an administrative, an effect-based, and a process perspective. The area of application is the supervision of systematic work environment management. A tentative conclusion is that methods of supervision can be well suited to matters about physical work conditions though not to social and psychological ones. The reason is that the language in the later cases includes macro-level concepts with fuzzy relations to the micro contexts that characterize supervision of the psychosocial work environment.

The second paper includes a short critical characterization of an inspection method, KASP, which is an effect-based version of the process-based method, PSI. (See Design and implementation of 'system inspection' in work contexts.
